It’s still #worldlymathweekends and over at @ckinged we do quite a bit of traveling as education consultants and sometimes we even travel for pleasure. We’ve seen some incredible cities so it got us thinking about all the mathematics that goes into urban planning. Imagine all the forecasting, projections and statistics that go into designing a city! Give us some examples of math that may be required for urban planning and if you’re up for a challenge, guess what city is pictured here...hint: this river has been a significant source of food, transportation and water for the continent where it is located! #mathematics #math #maths #mathproblems #mathematician #mathematicians #mathconsultancy #mathteacher #mathteachers #mathteachersofinstagram #mathstudent #mathstudents #mathematical #mathskills #mathisfun #education #learning #school #study #mathematic #lovemath #mathlovers #mathiseverywhere #ckingedmath #ckingeducation #mathematicalpractices #mathpractices
